ENGINEERING DESIGN WITHOUT COMPROMISE
ON THE SCENIC IMPACT

Transforming a high-impact visual concept into a functional and feasible structure, while meeting tight deadlines and complex regulations.

For Alice Ceramica, a leading brand in the designer ceramics sector, Cama52 took on an ambitious project: transforming a high-impact visual concept into a functional and feasible structure while meeting tight deadlines and complex regulations.

Project Challenges

With 176 square meters of exhibition space, the initial design for Alice Ceramica’s stand presented a very ambitious visual outcome, but faced significant technical constraints due to both Bologna Trade Fair regulations and the specific rules of the event. Additionally, the stand had to be completed in a very short timeframe, adding complexity.

Time was also a critical factor: from project reception to the start of assembly, every phase had to be optimized. Another challenge concerned the choice of materials and finishes, crucial to maintain the quality required by the client in a season with high temperatures that could affect material performance.

The Solution: Engineering Design Without Compromising Scenic Impact

To overcome these challenges, the Cama52 team fully engineered the project, translating the initial concept into a concrete and feasible solution. This required:

  • Adapting the design to the available structures and the constraints imposed by the fair.
  • Optimizing the project to ensure maximum aesthetic impact while respecting the budget.
  • Rapidly defining cladding, materials, and lighting—details not initially specified in the design phase.

The goal was also to create an environment reflecting the real context in which Alice Ceramica products are used, offering visitors a more engaging experience consistent with the brand identity.

Result: A Perfect Balance Between Aesthetics and Feasibility

Thanks to careful management and effective optimization, all technical and construction aspects of the stand were defined in just two weeks. The result was a perfect balance of design, functionality, and feasibility, with a visual impact matching the client’s expectations.

A complex project that transformed a creative vision into a tangible trade fair reality, without compromising on quality.
