Curves and innovation: Carimali’s stand at Salone del Bagno 2024

At Salone del Bagno 2024, part of the renowned Salone del Mobile, Carimali chose Cama52 and architect Marco Fumagalli to create a unique stand. The design, characterized by curved forms and rounded details, was inspired by the brand’s new ZED showerhead, focusing on an innovative and bold concept.

The challenge of perfect curves

The project focused on creating a space with curved walls and a large front porthole—distinctive elements that required precise engineering. Crafting the curves was a significant technical challenge, as the original design aesthetic needed to be preserved. The Cama52 team worked closely with architect Fumagalli and Carimali to develop innovative construction solutions, ensuring every detail aligned with the project vision.

The painting

Painting the interior surfaces was another crucial element. With the choice of multiple shades of gray, the project required high-quality paint applied in several layers to achieve a uniform finish. This attention to detail created a refined environment, highlighting Carimali’s products.

A successful collaboration

The success of this project was the result of synergy between the architect, the Carimali team, and Cama52’s technicians. Every phase, from design to execution, was managed with constant communication and precise planning. This collaborative approach allowed all technical challenges to be overcome while meeting the fair’s deadlines.

Carimali’s stand became a visitor attraction, demonstrating how innovation and attention to detail can transform the functionality of an exhibition space.
