Sometimes projects start in one direction but then take unexpected paths that turn out to be successful—especially when the dialogue and harmony between client and exhibitor work perfectly!
The booth created for Eurotec started like many others, with a simple request for booth design. However, after presenting the first project, we realized that our client’s needs were more complex than initially anticipated, and that our work was far from over.
After providing a series of revision requests for the initial design, the client attached a hand-drawn sketch—very complex to interpret—complete with numerous marginal notes. At that point, it was clear that an in-person meeting would be necessary to discuss such specific requirements.
But the idea of going into the meeting without an alternative solution didn’t sit well with our designer, Daniele, who spent an entire weekend developing a new, personal vision for the redistribution of the booth’s space.
A proposal that had not been requested, and wasn’t required, but that felt natural for us to create in order to meet the client’s needs. The client was, in fact, extremely surprised and satisfied with our proactive approach: the contract was finalized based on that project, in record time, without needing any further revisions.
The rest followed naturally: the booth was built to perfection, the client was extremely satisfied, so much so that they recommended us to a partner company and engaged us to design their corporate showroom. But that’s another story…
