HOW TO MANAGE DESIGN PROJECTS

The synergy between Cama52 and Fabbian, a historic design company specializing in lighting production, resulted in the creation of a space that is not only visually striking but also functional and aligned with the brand’s values.

The project was elegant and ambitious. It originated from an external architect, Massimo Marcomini, and this collaboration represented one of the main challenges for our work. Working with an external architect required a different approach and more frequent communication to align visions and expectations. In other words, it demanded architects and professionals capable of speaking his language, so as to anticipate and resolve potential project issues.

Moreover, as Fabbian is a lighting manufacturer, the management of lights and chandeliers had to be flawless. We worked closely with Massimo Marcomini and the client to achieve the right balance between aesthetics and energy functionality. Our engineers expertly handled the electrical system supporting the lighting installation, resulting in an excellent project that combined the elegance of Fabbian’s tradition with the modernity of a trade fair exhibition space.

One of the most original elements of this synthesis was the “tile,” an architectural crystal feature—a sort of curtain of lights—that enhanced the environment and gave character to the entire stand. Beyond its aesthetic impact, the tile had a significant physical weight, requiring precision and safety during installation that only a specialist could ensure.

A second key element was the inclusion of a real olive tree, around which benches and tables were placed. This touch of greenery and nature contrasted beautifully with Fabbian’s products, making them even more prominent. This space was designed for hospitality, and a bar was also created for the occasion. The challenge was twofold: transporting the tree and constructing a platform that housed the entire electrical system needed for the bar. Our strengths in this context included precise logistics to prevent issues and manage the swift transport of the olive tree, as well as having a team present on-site, ready to intervene quickly if any element failed.

As the cherry on top of an exceptional project, the stand had the honor of hosting Federica Pellegrini, another symbol of Venetian excellence, adding a touch of glamour to the event.
