Our story with Zuegg had been in the air for some time, even before the client, bound to a communication agency, could actually reach out to us. The company was looking for a partner to talk to, exchange ideas with, and trust not only for design and planning but also for the meticulous attention to detail, all the way through to the trade show setup. And we were ready!
What we were less prepared for was the request to reproduce the exact “Zuegg BLUE” using… only the lid of a jam jar as a reference! Normally, we rely on RAL or NCS color references, which make it easy to identify the exact shade.
So what could we do in this case? Simple: get to work, testing and retesting until we achieved the right result, knowing we could rely on suppliers who are always ready to help—even for the most unusual requests.
The day the Zuegg representative visited our headquarters bringing only the jam lid, we created 20 different color samples, with constant collaboration from our paint supplier and our lacquerer. Although initially a bit skeptical, they followed us with full expertise and dedication.
The client could see firsthand the care and precision we put into every project. Even though the work was demanding, the result met expectations perfectly. And at the trade show, the Zuegg booth proudly displayed its flawless “jam lid” shade.
